3E analysis of a biomass-to-liquids production system based on solar gasification

The solar gasification system (SGS) and traditional are modeled by Aspen Plus. And their energetic, economic as well ecologic (3E) performance compared. effects of different feedstocks Direct Normal Irradiance (DNI) to the productivity efficiency SGS also carried out. results show that a biomass-based, solar-assisted liquid fuel production offers increasing potential 49.44% more refined syngas 65.74% fuels due its higher utilization feedstock. for same reason, energetic increases from 40.22% 40.66% thermal 38.35% 41.35% exergy compared with those reference system. final price products in could only be equal when carbon tax is under considering, while both them shows no superiority petroleum products. has better ecology contributed less total water footprints which 55.27% 61.34%
